About Luis
My name is Luis Lopez-Santiago; but as photographer I prefer just Luis LS, because my last name is too long. I am a 40 years old man; married with Leonor for more than 10 years; and we have a 9 years old daughter, her name is Mariana.
I have been involved in photography for almost 15 years. I have almost none formal education in photography; only some basic classes and many workshops. I am autodidact, I learn something everyday.
I am not professional photographer; I have a day job and I love it. But Photography is one of my biggest passions; and I take it really serious, as professional.
I like many types of photography; portrait, landscape and macro are my favorite. In this website I will try to talk and show almost only my portrait work; on some of its varieties.

Mi nombre es Luis López-Santiago; como fotógrafo y para simplificar prefiero solamente Luis LS. Soy mexicano, de 40 años de edad, casado con Leonor por mas de 10 años y con una hermosa hija de 9 años, su nombre es Mariana.
Tengo casi 15 años de experiencia en fotografía. Estudie algunos cursos de fotografía; y he atendido muchos talleres o seminarios de fotografía. Pero mas bien soy autodidacta, y trato de aprender algo cada día.
Tengo un trabajo principal que no esta relacionado directamente con fotografía, el cual me gusta mucho. Pero tomo la fotografía muy seriamente, como si viviera solo de ella.
Me gustan varios tipos de fotografía incluyendo macro, paisaje y retrato en sus diversas formas.
